| 1. What is your name? : Steven Vazquez
2. Age? : 23
3. What year school year are you in? Junior
4. What is your major?: Art Therapy
5. How did you hear about P.R.I.D.E.? : I actually heard of P.R.I.D.E. from someone that was trying to hit on me while out at a club playing pool with my best friend.
6. What made you decide to become a member of P.R.I.D.E.? : I decided to attend a meeting, and when I saw that these people were just like me trying to make a difference as little or as much as they could, I knew I wanted to be apart of it.
7. How long have you been a member of P.R.I.D.E.?: I have been a member for 2 years
8. How long have you been an officer?: Technically I have been an officer for 9 months, but if you don't want to get "technical" it's been a year. (thanks Dawnie!)
9. What was your favorite event P.R.I.D.E. has been involved with or put on?: I actually enjoyed the several "RAVES" we have put on. Although they were not successful as we would have hoped we had fun.
10. What is your P.R.I.D.E. moment, the moment you felt was the best out of all P.R.I.D.E. moments?: Bake sale cooking. Although I was a member of P.R.I.D.E. I never actually hung out with anyone in the club outside of the college. Cooking for the bake / food sales allowed me to do that, and because of that I now have some of the greatest friendships of my entire life.
11 What has been your least favorite?: Bickering, although it isn't a moment, I don't like when we bicker. 12. In what ways do you feel P.R.I.D.E. has changed from when you first joined to know?: I feel PRIDE has grown as a club. Before when I first joined we were a club that helped every other club on campus so that we gained recognition from them. Now I see we are the club others come to for advice and ideas, and that is a good feeling, to notice our growth.
13 What is the one thing you feel P.R.I.D.E. has yet to accomplish?: To gain recognition all over the LCCC campus as well as the community. I believe we will once we gain that confidence in ourselves to venture outside our comfort zone.
14. If anything what more would you like P.R.I.D.E. to do on campus or outside in the community?: Become more active with activity centers, high schools, be more of a college group that sets out to show the community and the youth with in it the various outlets there are to express your individuality.
15 In what way if any, has P.R.I.D.E. changed you?: P.R.I.D.E. has asked me to be more of a leader, if I'm a good one or not is up for debate. But in being here I've managed to gain confidence and not turn down every single leadership role given to me. Because of this I have seen growth with in myself as a student, a friend, and an officer.
